Prosecco's ring
”Anello del Prosecco” (Prosecco's Ring) is the path 1019a, a 10 km long route through San Pietro di Barbozza, which also extends to Santo Stefano and Saccol. These villages lie on the hills around Valdobbiadene and have an ancient wine tradition.
The ring consists of roads closed to vehicles, where people can walk.
Tourists can decide whether to cover the “Anello”’s route alone or to take part in the organised tours taking place between March and October; tours include a guided walk through hills, beautiful landscape and vineyards with stop-offs at wineries, where the wine-making and grape-growing techniques are explained by experts. Moreover, tourists can taste the Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOC and the typical local food.
During the journey guides will provide tourists with information about history, culture and nature of the Valdobbiadene area and about Prosecco.
Visitors can also participate in the events taking place within the “Anello del Prosecco”.
”Anello del Prosecco” meets the needs of the modern wine tourist, searching not only for great wines and typical food products, but also for all those scenic, environmental and cultural components, that characterize the spirit and traditions of a territory.
