Piave river
In Bigolino there is a natural area called Settolo Basso. A 5 km route gives the possibility to discover, in a level ground, fresh rivers, resourgences, the flora ald the fauna typical of the humid places.
The Settolo Basso's park has been recently discovered to remember its importance still during the Serenissima's epoch, when goods was transported with rafts.
In the early 1900's there were a mill and an ice-factory that harmessed the running water of the fountain Roggia.
The activity of the 2 structures stopped in 1936.
Now the park has paths immersed in the nature, where it is easy to walk.
