Specialized italian food& Prosecco wine hotel in Conegliano, Treviso near Venice.
Gourmet, charme, culinary italian food guests are welcome!

Situated at the foot of the Dolomite Alps, the rolling hills between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano are marked by winding roads that stretch through lush fields of Prosecco grapes. Since the early 1800s, the Prosecco grape has been cultivated exclusively in the hilly region of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene in the province of Treviso, where the combination of loam rock, sandstone, a southern exposure of the hills, and the mild climate creates the ideal environment for the robust vine.

The hillsides of the Prosecco region show themselves to the visitor as a succession of slopes, embroidered with vineyards. Within this complex patchwork of vineyards, one also finds many monuments of the past, such as castles, parish churches and abbeys, all of which express the history of an area that has undergone continuous change.

There are many reasons for choosing Conegliano as a relaxing holiday destination point: apart from fascinating towns that are rich in art, history and culture, this zone also offers a large number of wine shops, restaurants, trattoria’s and other locations in which one can savour the welcoming atmosphere.

There are six wines in the Prosecco family. The most popular Prosecco, Spumante is obtained through the natural fermentation of the Prosecco grape. When the fermentation is interrupted, a small amount of sugar can be added to produce Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry.
Slightly sour and straw-yellow in color, this aromatic and velvety wine tastes of apples and pears. It is an ideal aperitif but also goes well with light first courses, bean soup, seafood, fresh cheeses and meat.

The king of the Prosecco, Prosecco "Superiore Cartizze" Dry is produced exclusively on 264 acres of vineyards which grow on the steepest hills of Valdobbiadene. Its mellow taste and wonderful aroma is ideal with desserts, and especially delicate pastry and fruit pies.

Prosecco goes very well with fish antipasti, white meat, and steamed or grilled fish. To bring out the best qualities of Prosecco, be sure to open Prosecco when it is still young, one or two years old and serve it chilled.

It's a mild, frothy, sparkling wine with a neutral, slightly fruity bouquet. It’s Prosecco! Come and enjoy its fantastic taste!
